Was it not enough that we were bought over by a Belgium businessman , closely followed by players from the same stable, only for us to get the full set, in the form of the coaching variety.

It has come to my attention that Van Houdt and Kiala, will from the 1st of July will be involved in the coaching set up at the Valley.

Van Houdt is married to our manager`s sister.

I`m not entirely opposed to the idea of keeping it in the family. As the past has shown, Ian Dowie, previous manager, was joined by his brother in the coaching roll, and we all know how this ended.

It should not come as a big surprise to Charlton supporters, that Roland is doing nothing different than past managers.

My main concern is how our established players will take to all these changes, and if not, will these changes affect their performance?

I want to see a well-run unit come the new season, but there are still far too many holes to fill. I`m not talking about the playing surface- I`m referring to players that have left because their contract have expired and that have not been replaced like for like.

Will there be a satisfactory outcome to all our woes and tribulations, because a lot has been going on since the end of last season, I hope so. I also think a vast number of loyal supporters will share my sentiments.
