Charlton to keep tabs on youngster

|

The talk of transfers will be very rich in the coming weeks and especially in January as the transfer window opens on the 1st.

It looks as though Charlton will be looking at Brentford youngster Jaden Brissett after impressing for Brentford’s B team.

The 18-year-old has played 18 matches and has scored 12 goals and made 9 assists since the season started which has attracted the attention of not only Charlton but Aston Villa and QPR too.

Speaking with the Daily Mail The Brentford B teams manager Lars Friis had this to say about the young prodigy

‘We’ve been looking at Jaden for a while and have been really impressed by his ability during his trial period. He’s a player with great potential, who can already play in a number of positions.’

He will obviously be one for the future, but from what his manager says about him he sounds very promising and I’m looking forward to hearing more about this lad as his progression kicks on at a fast rate, plus he is out of contract in the summer which could see us swoop for him on a free!
