Charlton To Clear The Boundary

Charlton will require an unlikely trio of results to snatch automatic promotion tomorrow. First and foremost they have to win themselves, then hope Lennie Lawrence’s Bristol Rovers can beat Leeds at Elland Road, and finally, they need Millwall and Swindon to draw at the New Den!

If the latter two scenarios materialise but Charlton fail to take advantage, the door would be open for Huddrsfield to leapfrog four places to claim the prize.

Charlton are almost certainly going to be contesting the play-offs but the published dates may not be as concrete as we are led to believe. Director, David White, has said that the police will have a major say in deciding the date and time of the games should Charlton be paired with Millwall.
