Reading defender Sam Sodje is set to join Charlton on a season long loan just days after Sheffield Wednesday claimed he was close to signing for them.
Sodje is another defender who Addicks boss Alan Pardew is looking to add to his squad, after hearing that he is surplus to requirements at his respective club.
This move comes close on the heels of that of Danny Mills who was earlier today close to rejoining Charlton until January.
Sodje is another to come from the famous Sodje family who have relatives playing in all tiers of the football league.
