Last week it was reported that Marcus Browne and John Bostock were on Charlton’s radar as the January transfer window opened on January 1st, but Richard Cawley has now quashed those rumours.
John Bostock and Marcus Browne are not transfer targets for Charlton in this window. Had been linked.

Rumours will be floating around just like this one and more often than not it will just be speculation which is unfortunate at times, but also a sigh of relief for others such as John Bostock, I just don’t think he would have fit in well.
Our polls revealed some surprising results in John Bostock however as 59% of fans said they would take him whilst 41% were not interested if I’m honest I thought it was going to be a landslide no.
However, Marcus Browne got more of a welcoming by Charlton fans than what Bostock did as the polls revealed that 77% were in favour of Browne joining whilst 23% said no.
I think right now with losing Leko a signing like Browne is needed before the weekend’s game against West Brom as we only have Josh Davison upfront at the moment which is a massive problem.
I’m sure we will see some new faces through the door very soon, but who they will be remains to be seen.
