It sure does feel good to be a Charlton fan right now, the football is back and guess what we are talking about the football! We’re not talking about the ownership troubles or anything like that, right now we are living in the moment and positivity is being shared all around the Charlton fan base and that is exactly what we need and what the players need to carry on the season in a motivated and hard-working fashion.

Can you name every league position Charlton has finished in within the last 20 years? I bet you can’t but feel free to prove me wrong!

Where did Charlton finish in the 2019/20 season?

The lads put out a decent performance which was exactly what we needed, we scored early on and held our own throughout to ensure that we kept a clean sheet and brought the vital three points back to The Valley.

Lee Bowyer was very happy with his side as they swept aside an awful Hull City side to lift us out of the relegation zone, but we have heard the gaffers reaction of the victory but what about the player? Let’s take a look!

Tom Lockyer and Macauley Bonne start off with a great message stating that they won the game for super fan Seb Lewis and Macca also mentioned Les Turner who was part of the Valley Party that got Charlton back to the sacred home of The Addicks, The Valley.

Jason Pearce was very active after the game and here are a series of tweets he posted

Deji Oshilaja or “Uncle Deji” as he is known as by his teammates also expressed his happiness with securing the “tree” points which was welcomed by Naby Sarr.
