Charlton midfielder suffers injury setback

|

It’s been a long while since we’ve seen Josh Cullen in a Charlton shirt and it’s set to be a bit longer according to a Vital Charlton source as it is understood that Cullen has hurt himself in training, but we are not sure of the extent of the injury as he could face a recall to West Ham if he’s out for a couple more months.

This is the last thing that we need especially with Conor Gallagher being recalled by Chelsea. That leaves our midfield as what we like to call skint.

Who is this?

If this does turn out to be a long-term injury for Cullen, we have to act fast in the transfer market as we have Darren Pratley as our only holding midfielder with any real experience.

Sam Field will be back soon but we need more cover in the midfield area otherwise we are just get absolutely battered in the middle of the park every game which should be getting looked at as a high priority at this time.

Who was Charlton's first-ever manager?

I would be surprised if we didn’t sign anyone this week as we wait on the outcomes of Marcus Maddison and Harlee Dean, but only time will tell!

UPDATE AS OF 15:12 14/1/2020: Cullen’s injury is not as bad as first thought, I just received an update to let me know he was taken out of training but only for precaution, he did pick up a slight knock in training today but he seems to fine! PANIC OVER!
