Karl Robinson is expected to be active in the transfer market this summer, the Charlton boss will bring further players into the Valley as well as shipping others out.

Most of the early rumours of summer interest surround players Robinson previously worked with at MK Dons including David Martin, who also had a spell with Liverpool. According to Kent Live the Charlton boss sees the will-be free agent as his no.1 next season.

Declan Rudd, set to return to Norwich at the end of his season-long loan deal, is a player Robinson would like to sign yet the Canaries keeper is reportedly attracting Championship interest so probably isn’t going to be seen at the Valley next season? Martin, 31, could though as it was mutually decided he would leave MK Dons at the end of his deal after well over 250 appearances for the club.

Another MK Dons player, leaving our League 1 rivals at the end of his contract, midfielder Darren Potter is also being mentioned in connection with a reunion with Robinson at the Valley.

Lee Hodson, according to the Sun – via Kent Live, is said to be the third former MK Dons player Robinson is ‘considering a swoop’ for at the end of the season.

Northern Ireland international Hodson, taken to the stadium:mk from Watford by the Charlton boss, has been limited to just the nine Scottish Premiership appearances since signing for Rangers, a return south of the border is on the cards.
