As the West Brom game is quickly approaching, Charlton has 24 hours to bring in some bodies before the next fixture as our injury crisis situation has finally had the breather it needs with Jonny Williams, Tomer Hemed and Jake Forster-Caskey all returning to the matchday squad.
Only thing is that still won’t be enough, we need to bring in at least four more players and three bids have been put forward to clubs and we are waiting to hear back from them, but we have an idea of who one of those bids could be for.
According to SkyBet Charlton are favourites to sign Peterborough playmaker Marcus Maddison who has been instrumental for The Posh so far this season.
Maddison has had a great campaign so far scoring 9 goals in 21 games whilst providing 6 assists in League One and I highly doubt we are the only ones after him as the former Gateshead man has been a driving force in Peterborough’s team.
Would you like Marcus Maddison at Charlton?
I would love this to happen, obviously, it would put Chuks on the back burner, but it’s not like he’s been great for us this season and he could probably do with a spell on loan somewhere I just don’t think he has it in him to play in the Championship.
