Charlton eye up former Crystal Palace midfielder

|

The second surprise of the day comes courtesy of Football Insider as they claim that former Crystal Palace midfielder John Bostock could be on his way to The Valley after a rather disastrous loan spell at Nottingham Forest from French Ligue One side Toulouse.

This deal would see Beram Kayal recalled to Brighton for good as his own injury crisis worsens and John will take the loan spot if this deal goes through and he would add some much-needed depth to the thinnest squad in the league as we slowly recover from the injury crisis.

Would you like John Bostock at Charlton?

Yes

No

With just five appearances for Forest this season questions will be asked of Bowyer and Gallen if they were to bring Bostock in on loan as he obviously has not been doing the business for The Tricky Trees, but I always trust their judgement, sure they might not always get things 100% right, but they do more often than not and that’s what makes having those two so special.

Bostock started his career at Crystal Palace where he was snapped up by Tottenham Hotspur and then spent the next five years in and out on loan before going overseas (with at the time former Charlton player Jimmy Floyd Hasslebaink’s) Royal Antwerp before spending spells at OH Leuven, Lens and Bursaspor.
