|

Charlton need some help in the final third, whether that be a finisher or someone who can provide we need bodies in so we can finally see some prolific scoring in SE7, but Charlton are hoping to find their man as former Swansea City striker Courtney Baker-Richardson is currently on trial with the Addicks.

Who is this?

A little bit of a background on Baker-Richardson he is from the Coventry City youth set up but never made a first-team appearance, after that he spent three years in non-league football playing for teams such as Romulus, Nuneaton Town, Redditch United and Kettering Town before finding his stride with Leamington in the National League North where he scored 21 goals in 62 games.

In 2017 he moved to Swansea City who were in the Premier League at the time and he even played against Charlton in the EFL Trophy as he was on the pitch for 21 minutes in our 3:2 win in 2017.

Would you like Courtney Baker-Richardson at Charlton?

Yes

No

He went out on loan to Accrington Stanley last season but only managed to make two appearances providing one assist as he played just 97 minutes, which led to his release from Swansea.

He is now a free agent and Charlton could bring him in as he played for half an hour against Crystal Palace on Saturday, but couldn’t turn the game on its head.
