Canaries Flying High

Norwich celebrated their return to the Championship on the very ground where they left it a year ago. On the back foot for much of the afternoon, a solitary goal by Michael Nelson was enough to give them all three points and with Leeds losing, the party could begin.

Charlton created enough good chances to have won comfortably but Fraser Forster in the Canaries goal was in inspired form. Charlton may feel they could have done better though.

Charlton played their hearts out and the crowd were a credit to their team…I thought Christian Dailley was awesome today…we are just short of a real goalscorer…we looked light in front of goal…the players were a credit to themselves today….come on lads the other results went our way…heads up it’s all to play for yet

That’s been a problem all season though really hasn’t it, we’re lacking that real goalscorer. We were really unlucky to lose though, we didn’t deserve that.

I’ve just said on another article that we can either take heart from this and offer up more of the same against Exeter (and in our final games) and hope to get the results we deserve (or want), or we can accept the play-off’s now. I’m not willing to accept the play-off’s as our only option just yet.
