Charlton finally broke their Friday the 13th hoodoo as they chalked up their second win of the season.

Resplendent in their new sky blue change strip, they quickly settled into their stride. Lee Martin partnered Abbott up front and the pair worked tirelessly all night.

Even the handicap of losing skipper Christian Dailly shortly after the break did not stop them.

McCormack gave the visitors a first-half lead when he ghosted in at the far post to nod Francis’ inch perfect cross home.

Orient equalised just after the break when Scott McGleish slotted home a ball that eluded Doherty. Two minutes later the Addicks were down to 10 men when Dailly received a second yellow. Reid was immediately sacrificed to allow Llera to replace the skipper.

Just past the hour mark Wagstaff cut inside, bamboozled two defenders to curl home a peach of a left-footer. Wagstaff then turned creator deep into stoppage time when he pulled a ball back for Solly to convert with his first touch.
