Addicks Skipper Ready for Saturday?

Andy Reid had again been faced with a race against time to be fit for the last Republic of Ireland game, but having he proved his fitness he played the full 90 minutes, which should leave him fit for Saturday.

The Addicks skipper had not trained with his Irish teammates since putting in a fine performance for his country in the 0-0 draw with Germany last Saturday, and this had left him as a doubt for not only the Republic’s game with Cyprus on Wednesday but also the Addicks game with Wolves this coming Saturday, as the Championship programme returns.

However, having proved his fitness he was able to take up a stating position against Cyprus on and played the entire game, so hopefully having made it through this match too he should be fit for Saturday, all being well.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on And Reid? Has he come of age for the Addicks this season and how important is he. Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Andy Reid appears to have really found his feet for club and country, so he would always be the first name I picked if I were AP, and provided he is fit (which he should be) he will this Saturday. He has really showed his class this season, which has not gone unnoticed by Premier League clubs, with several believed to be interested in him but he has promised he will be staying here this season hasn’t he.
