Southampton striker Grzegorz Rasiak looks set to leave St Mary’s in January in favour of a move further north to London with Charlton Athletic.

The Addicks have just lost Svetoslav Todorov for the remainder of the season due to injury and Alan Pardew sees Rasiak as the perfect replacement.

Saints boss George Burley won’t be keen on selling his star hitman but may have no choice as Southampton are losing large sums of money on a weekly basis according to some Sunday newspapers.

It is believed a fee of around £2M will be required to snatch Rasiak from the Londoner’s promotion rivals.

Rasiak was previously with Tottenham Hotspur before joining Southampton but failed to make his mark in the Premier League before being shipped out. He has a proven track record in the Championship also playing for newly promoted Derby before Spurs.

Absolutely no facts in this article..just pure speculatiion..probably on the basis that Rasiak’s not in Southampton’s team at the moment so may think bout moving.

Would Be A Good Signing For You Though….!

I think he would be a great signing as he is well proven in this Division, £2M wouldn’t be a bad price really either would it, and although it’s been denied it wouldn’t surprise me if he does sign as Southampton need the cash don’t they.
