Charlton Athletic have only 6 points left to play for in this year’s battle in League One.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Charlton Athletic find themselves heading towards the end of May, there are two games remaining in the campaign but Charlton are mathematically safe from the drop into League 2.

Sitting in 15th place in the table on 54 points for the year so far, we are nine points ahead of Port Vale in 21st place and even though they have a game in hand – if that is won they swap places with Bury who sit on 47 points so far.

The unbeaten in three run we are on with two victories has done the trick and we just have to hope the final two games sees a strong finish that can be taken into next campaign.

Chesterfield v Charlton Athletic – Sat 22 Apr – 15:00
Charlton Athletic v Swindon Town – Sun 30 Apr – 12:00
